Established in Helsinki, Finland, in 1986, Finngroup Consultants specializes in environmental, social and economic sustainability of the built environment and resilience of urban areas. We work all over the world and have firsthand experience in 35 countries.
Finngroup Consultants has over 30 years of experience supporting countries, cities, communities and organisations with specific issues related to inclusiveness, social wellbeing, sustainability and climate change mitigation and adaptation of urban areas and the built environment, working with community development projects and in post-crisis humanitarian and reconstruction contexts. We have worked with the World Bank, United Nations organisations such as the United National Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), African development bank (AFDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Union (EU), Swedish International Development Cooperation (SIDA) and Department for International Development Cooperation of Finland (FINNIDA).
We facilitate strategic and programmatic development, cooperation, analysis, project management, evaluation, and participatory planning processes for environmentally, socially and economically sustainable, inclusive and resilient housing, public building, infrastructure, neighborhood, city and regional development projects and programmes.
